I am a camera maker based in Hythe, Kent, UK. Established 2018. Worldwide shipping available.
Since 2018 I have been commissioned to make many bespoke mahogany parts for film and plate cameras, such as lens boards, lens board adapters, front rise panels, wet plate holders, lens caps, bon ton camera fronts, etc. I will soon be introducing my line of traditional mahogany cameras.
I employ traditional methods and materials for camera design, construction and finishing. I have crafted replica and upgraded parts for cameras including; Gandolfi, Deardorff, Watson, Ross, Kodak, Graflex, Szabad, Houghton Butcher, Ansco, Burke and James, Thornton Pickard, to name but a few.
I also supply; focusing cloths, borosilicate ground glass focusing screens, Fresnel lens screens, Stouffer step wedges, Ilford products (film, paper, and chemicals) as well as antique and vintage cameras (soon!). I am a participating dealer for the annual Ilford ULF Sheet Film Campaign.
