Borosilicate Ground Glass Focusing Screen for Sinar Norma 8x10"
2.75mm thickness. 209×253mm. 10mm clipped corners.
These plain borosilicate ground glass focusing screens are made from Schott Borofloat 33 borosilicate glass. Borosilicate glass is; colourless, more transparent, harder, tougher, highly scratch resistant, highly resistant to heat and chemicals.
I may be able to produce a custom Fresnel for this size. Please enquire.
Plain borosilicate ground glass screens are also available in 4×5”, 5×7”, 8×10” as well as; 2½x3½”, 3¼×4¼”, 9×12cm, 6½x8½“, UK & US Postcard, 10×12”, 11×14”, Graflex RB Super D 34/45, Graflex SG/CG 45, Linhof 45, and more. I can also provide custom sized plain ground glass screens. I also offer graduated ground glass focusing screens that feature metric and imperial scales for marking of smaller formats, grids, etc. in 4×5”, 5×7” and 8×10” formats.
Sizes: The ground glass screens are true to size stated or rounded down to the next closest millimetre. For example the 4×5” screen is 101×127mm ± 0.5mm.
Packaging: Supplied in a foam lined tin. Ideal for storing a backup ground glass screen in your car or camera bag.
Lead time: Please allow 10 working days for grinding and packaging.
The glass is sourced in the UK and then hand ground by me.
